| A Message from Maggie Dear Supporters: Thank you very much for your support. We have more work to do, so please get some rest and take a break, but do not go far away. According to the figures released by the Los Angeles County Registrar's office, less than 10% of the voting population in Palmdale made it to the polls and even less individuals who are registered as absentee voters mailed in their ballot. The numbers this season were less than the numbers in 2009. In view of this, we must spend some time encouraging citizens to register to vote and to exercise their right to vote in each election. Change begins when you cast your votes at the polls. Join us on Facebook below and join the team as a volunteer to the right. The campaign will remain open though the end of the year while we close out our records. If you have pledged a contribution but have not made it yet, this is a great time to follow through. Help me to continue sending the message that we will continue fighting for our right to breath clean fresh air and improve our way of life in Palmdale.
